Ticket Scanning

Follow these steps to scan any valid Washington’s Lottery Scratch or Draw game ticket to see if it’s a winner or to enter eligible non-winning tickets to earn My Lottery 360º rewards and achievements.
 
  1. Download and install the Washington’s Lottery mobile app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
  2. Allow the app access to your camera if it asks for permission.
  3. Find your ticket’s barcode. For Scratch games, completely remove the scratch-off coating from the lower or upper area of the ticket. For the best scanning result, completely uncover the barcode.

    For Draw games, you will find the barcode at the top of your printed ticket.

  4. Tap the Scan button in your mobile app’s menu.

  5. Make sure the ticket is evenly lit with no hard shadows.
  6. Center the ticket’s barcode in the scan window.

  7. The ticket will scan automatically.
  8. If you cannot get the automatic scanner to work, you can use the button at the top of the screen to manually enter your ticket.
